How to Clean Your Washing Machine with EcoSense®

If your laundry isn’t as fresh and clean as you’d like it to be, it may be your washer! Give your washing machine a refreshing makeover to keep it looking good and to ensure your laundry is as clean as possible.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • • Step 1: Use Tough & Tender® on the door seal
  • • Step 2: Remove hard water stains with Tub & Tile™
  • • Step 3: Sanitise with Sol-U-Guard Botanical®
  • • Step 4: Run empty with two MelaBrite® Plus Oxi packs to help deodorise your washer

All it takes is four simple steps and a few of your favourite EcoSense cleaners to keep your washer in tip top shape. Depending on how often you use your washer, you will want to clean it every 2–4 months.

STEP 1: SCRUB THE DOOR SEAL WITH TOUGH & TENDER

Regularly cleaning the door seal is one of the most important steps. It will help prevent the build-up of grime, mold, bacteria, and odours—ensuring your machine (and your laundry) stay fresh.

STEP 2: REMOVE HARD WATER STAINS FROM WASHING MACHINE DOOR WITH TUB & TILE.

Spray both sides of the door—and anywhere else you see hard water spots—with Tub & Tile. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe it clean.

STEP 3: SANITISE THE DRUM WITH SOL-U-GUARD BOTANICAL DISINFECTANT

This is essential for preventing the growth of mold and bacteria inside your drum. Spray the bottom of the drum, spinning it slowly with your hand to thoroughly cover the entire surface. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then wipe it clean.

STEP 4: RUN YOUR WASHER WITH MELABRITE PLUS OXI

The enzymes and hydrogen peroxide in the packs eliminate built-up residue, neutralise odours, and reduce the risk of microbial contamination.

It doesn’t take long, but these steps will help your washing machine—and your laundry—stay fresh, hygienic, and sparkling clean.
